Codes are written in Mathematica, and a pdf version is also available. Directory "Wave-Particle_Interactions\Charged_Particle_in_E_Wave_and_B_Field": Figures 1 and 2 represent the phase spaces of the original system, i.e., a relativistic charged particle confined by an external uniform magnetic field, and interacting with a stationary electrostatic wave given as a series of periodic pulses propagating perpendicularly to the magnetic field. Directory "Wave-Particle_Interactions\Charged_Particle_in_E_Wave_and_B_Field\Invariant_Robust_Barrier": Figures 4 and 5 represent the phase spaces of the perturbed system, i.e., with the addition of a single perturbing invariant robust barrier to control chaos and improve particle acceleration from low initial energies. Figure 3 presents the allowed positions for the perturbing robust barrier as a function of the wave amplitude for fixed values of wave period and wave number.
